LAPLACE, LA — Family members, friends, classmates, and residents of the LaPlace community are mourning the tragic and sudden loss of 17-year-old Omarion Ingram, who was fatally shot on Monday, June 15, 2026. According to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Cinclair Loop at approximately 7:20 p.m. after reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of shots fired, including shell casings near an alleyway.
