Tim Crum Death, Obituary: Tim Crum Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 68 in Gracey

GRACEY, KY — Authorities are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Hopkinsville man Tuesday afternoon in Gracey.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Kentucky Route 1026.

Deputies report that a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Tim Crum was crossing U.S. 68 when it collided with an eastbound SUV driven by Cory Murray of Cadiz. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway.

First responders performed CPR on Crum at the scene before he was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health, where he later died from his injuries.

Officials confirmed that no occupants of the SUV were injured in the crash.

Emergency crews temporarily restricted traffic in the area while responding to the scene and collecting evidence. The crash remains under active investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Friends and community members are mourning the loss of Tim Crum, remembering him as loved by those who knew him, while authorities continue to work to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
